Type Locality and Naming
COASTAL OUTCROP. Named after Milliolites (Foraminifera) which are abundant in the formation. [Original Publication: Biswas, S.K. (1971) Note on the geology of Kutch. Quarterly Journal Geological, Mining and Metallurgical Society of India. Vol. 43 (4), pp. 223-225.
Lithology and Thickness
Limestone. It consists of pelletoidal, sandy oncolites, sandy pelmicrite in calcareous sandstone.
